Good choice at breakfast. Friendly staff.

The room (15) had plenty of drawers to put clothes in but NO hanging place, not even a coat hook. As everyone coming to Lewis is almost certain to bring a jacket, that seems perverse. There was plenty of space for a hook and a couple of hangars.

The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, but the mattress on the bed was rather soft.

Welcoming reception but initially given room 12 - absolutely unacceptable, shouldn’t be given to a dog. Tiny, dark, hardly any natural light, noisy air con right outside the window, view of wall 10ft away, ironing board propped against wall in the corner. Should not be offered as a guest room at any price. Fortunately helpful receptionist was able to change our room to much more acceptable room 5. Clean comfortable and light, Food in Eleven restaurant was very good standard, fish skewer particularly good. Staff helpful and friendly.

A very nice hotel with friendly staff, centrally located and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant but we did not eat there. The staff were exceptionally friendly and gave us several restaurant recommendations. They also have an elevator, which is a bonus one doesn’t take for granted when traveling in the UK. I would recommend it for the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.

Reception staff pleasant. Location good - near ferry terminal.

Very overpriced. Our room looked out onto a block wall. Windows didn't open far enough to cool the room down. The restaurant was like a works canteen. Our meal - a jambalaya- was mediocre at best

Schönes Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet mit Harris Tweed. Möglichkeiten für Frühstück und Abendessen vorhanden. Zentrale Lage, nahe dem Hafen. Städtchen gut zu Fuß zu erobern.

Most s taff were friendly and welcoming

I was offered a windowless room. Another guest was kind enough to change with me. The young girl on the desk and the manager weren't helpful. I've stayed there 6 times over the last 8 years for work. Niver been given a, windowless room before.
