Trentham Motel

excellent. very happy with rate, staff and service

Convenient stop off on the way to Wellington, so we could visit some regional parks (good old Kiwi Guardian hunts). Although the outside of the units look run down, and the industrial sized rubbish bins were a bit of a put off (and the trailer full of old furniture), it was a very pleasant place to stay. Inside our room was spacious, clean (apart from under the bed, but a lot places are slack at cleaning there) and suited our needs. The owners/managers were helpful and friendly. We would probably stay here again if we were in the area.

Quiet hotel. You did to hear the other guests. Room was tidy and clean. Needed more space in main bedroom around bed. No table or drawers to put suitcase or clothes on.

The summer suddenly turned cold and rainy on us, so we quickly booked this nice family unit allowing us to prepare our own meals with the good size fridge, all kitchen utensils and stove, alas no fish or curry cooking as per the notice on the wall!

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were exactly what I assumed they would be, small but clean and comfortable.

Stayed one night and after my next day accommodation was not good I booked second night with them again. Nice receptionist there, room clean, kitchen good, bed comfy. I would stay again.

Easy to find. Perfect location to where we needed to be. The room we had was very roomy. Bonus to have the air condition as being a hot day the unit was very warm on arriving back at night. Great shower pressure and the bed was good, although we have had better. Being on the main road we didn't find it noisy at all. Yes you did hear some traffic but nothing to moan about.

Quite a find if you want to explore Wellington. Just a 40 min train ride away. Great hotel and a couple cracking places to eat...best pork belly ever!

Customer service OK as long as you don't ask for too much. Rude when tried to use the laundry in the evening despite being informed it was 24 hours. Bed had bed bugs.

Great place to stay with all the facilities i would go back if I was in Wellington again
