Bluebell Barn

There were more than enough ingredients (muesli mix/granola) to make a substantial breakfast on their own. That said I was more than happy to be offered virtually a second course (fresh fruit/orange juice/pastries) before making some nice strong coffee in the cafetière.

Having a fridge was essential - so good. But like all fridges from time to time it rumbles. But once you have have stopped using it, it remains mostly quiet in the night. However, if I lived there, I'd put the fridge in the (large) bathroom and then be guaranteed a silent night. Except for the owls!

Loved the location, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good, the host was great, would highly recommend.

Only little quibble was that the room could have had a fan, just to circulate the air better as it had been a very hot day.

Lovely comfortable room with large bathroom and everything you could need. Ideally located for the venue we were visiting for a friends wedding. The host was wonderful and friendly and provided a delicious breakfast each morning at a pre-agreed time. She even set us up at a picnic table in the sunshine one morning.

We just had a quick overnight stay at this wonderful place. What a delight, the location and accommodation were absolutely perfect for us. The bed really comfortable (quality sheets too!) the bath was a dream, we no longer have a bath at home so it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Lashings of hot water, toiletries provided, sheer heaven after a day stood up watching motor racing. There was a shower too if they are your thing. Breakfast was fantastic and the host Christine could not do enough for us, such a lovely friendly person. I can't write this and not mention Ted, we shared an hour maybe with this wonderful old gentleman with his kind eyes, if we could have fit him in our overloaded car we would have!! Thank you for having us.

We didn't like to leave, next time hopefully our stay will be longer!

The hosts were outstanding, it really felt like home from home. When traveling my dog finds it difficult to settle but not here! I didn’t recognise her and she felt so at home she didn’t want to leave. Nothing could improve my stay, had everything I needed and felt safe. Treated to wonderful breakfasts and excellent company. I can’t thank you enough and look forward to visiting again.

Very welcoming and helpful host. On arrival we received freshly baked cake, which was a nice touch. We really liked to style of the property and enjoyed gong for a walk through the fields with Ted. A nice relaxing place to stay.

Everything was just great. Warm welcome from the host. Having spent a cold wet day at Snetterton Race Track, the cottage was cozy, clean and warm. The continental breakfast provided was great. Host recommended having dinner at the Kings Head in New Buckenham , just a 5 min drive away. Food was lovely, we would reccommend going there.
