Hotel Approdo

We had 3 fantastic nights at the Hotel. We stayed in a superior room, which was on the top floor and had a sea view and large balcony (with chairs and beds). The views down the Italian Riviera coast are spectacular. We booked the hotel as it appeared good value compared to others in the area, and had no regrets. Ok, so on the downside, the hotel is out of town, (hence its slightly cheaper price), doesn’t have a restaurant and the road at the front is a bit noisy. Also perhaps at some point the bathrooms could be modernised with some newer fittings. However, for the location, it’s only a 10 minute walk back to either Santa Margherita, or for dinner, (as advised by the staff) to Spiaggia di San Michele, which contains a few great beachside restaurants and a bar, all without the crowds of the main town. The road, and noise certainly drops at night, and being on the hotels top floor also helps! Finally the staff, especially the ladies on reception, were fantastic, and all spoke English beautifully. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, we had a great stay, and wonderful memories, and certainly hope to come back in the future.

Fantastic stay! Rooms spotless and modern. Just about 10 minute walk from Santa Margherita and train station. Great breakfast and adapted for gluten intolerance. Staff were very helpful and helped with information on buses and boats. Lovely main area of hotel and outside. Highly recommend this hotel. Grazie mille 😁

Very friendly staff, clean room and good breakfast! Only downside is that you have to walk right next to the road with cars driving pretty fast on the way to santa Margherita which is about 10 minutes away. But everything about the hotel itself was amazing!

Beautiful view from our room. Near Santa Margherita Ligure and for those who want to walk Portofino is walkable.

Séjour agréable ; l'hôtel a été entièrement rénové avec du mobilier moderne sans âme, c'est un peu dommage. le prix est correct mais attention le petit-déjeuner et le parking ne sont pas compris et cela fait monter rapidement l'addition.

The grounds are gorgeous. The sea view is spectacular. Staff are lovely and friendly
