Breakfast was excellent. Quiet room meant I could work without interruptions and sleep well. Easy parking onsite.

After staying at this IHG property, I’m glad to be a member to partake in the beauty of this property and to experience first hand the warmth of the staff. An easy drive from Central Dublin, we chose Blanchardstown because of the complimentary parking and the thousands of 5 star reviews. But what really struck me was the genuine friendliness of the the folks who run the hotel. In particular was Davang, one of the managers, who made us feel like family. It’s evident that this man loves his job and puts his heart into his interactions with guests. Also Adam served us with expertise and more of that Irish charm. It was a great stay!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay genuinely fell below any reasonable standard for a 4-star establishment — and needs to be said. **Housekeeping staff unable to communicate.** Not a single member of the housekeeping team was able to communicate in English. Any basic request or interaction required gestures and guesswork. In a 4-star hotel welcoming international guests, this is a real problem. **Reception — repeated requests, zero efficiency.** Every interaction at the front desk required repeating ourselves multiple times before anything was acted upon. Whether this reflects chronic understaffing or a lack of proper training, the result is the same: a frustrating and unwelcoming experience from the moment you arrive. **No assistance with luggage, stroller, or baby equipment.** We were travelling with an infant and a stroller. Not once was help offered — no porter, no proactive gesture at the door or elevator. At this category of hotel, that level of attentiveness is not optional. It is a baseline expectation. **Room discrepancy — shower instead of the booked bathroom.** We had specifically reserved a room with a full bathroom, clearly stated in our booking package. Upon arrival, we were given a room with a shower only. When we raised the issue at reception, we were told — with remarkable composure — that the website photos are "illustrative only." A booking confirmation is a contract, not a mood board. Misrepresenting room amenities and then deflecting responsibility is unacceptable under any circumstances, let alone when travelling with a baby for whom a bathtub is a genuine necessity. **Overall impression.** This hotel markets itself as 4 stars but delivers a 3-star experience at best — overstretched staff, a below-average brasserie, and a consistent gap between what is sold and what is actually provided.
