The breakfast was not much at all, and that was disappointing. There was a wall light near the bed, but no outlet in sight. The room was large and clean, so that was good.
NIce property. Nice room. Close to a lot of shopping, etc. Room to park our RV.
Even though it was a spontaneous stay, booked while driving (unseen) at a ....what we thought was a reasonable price, I wouldn't repeat the visit. It's old and it smelled. We were tired as we had been on the road all day so we stayed. 2 washers and dryers and 2 were out of order....no vending machines and only one ice....way back in the corner of property.....not good.
We drove from Iowa to florida. This was our last stop. hotel looked abandoned. apparently not. the room was great, little couch and refrigerator and microwave. coffee pot. Bed was clean and comfortable. housekeeping was extremely rude. we're getting our stuff into the car and a lady said we had to pay $10 for our dogs. Fine. We take the money to the office to be told we didn't have to pay. Moral of the story is the house keeper tried to hustle $20 from us...
Room was ok. wifi didn't work. thier idea of breakfast was dry bread and coffee and OJ. Wasn't bad but far from the best.
Overall everything was very nice, my only complaint is the carpet was very dirty that my only complaint!
The price was right but the bed was AWFUL!!!
expectations were below expected even at rate paid
This is not an upscale hotel. It was quiet and the bathroom and sheets were clean (although the sheets were nearly worn through in some places). We skipped the breakfast, since the small amount of counter space indicated that food choices would be few, and there were only four tables crammed into the small reception space. But we were just looking for a place to sleep and shower on our way from one destination to another, so for the modest price we paid, I have no complaints.
Since Calhoun is a small town I missed gym or an exercise room
