The hotel is conveniently located, the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom that had a good size closet. We were happy to find that there was a self-serve laundry on-site (3 machines, 35Kr per wash and per dry and the front desk has soap pods). We would consider staying here again. We did find that, like all the hotels we stayed in on our trip in the Netherlands and Norway, the arrangement of having a duvet/comforter to sleep under meant we had trouble sleeping comfortably—either too warm/hot or too cool. Adjusting the thermostat down did not seem to help. We resorted to removing the comforter from it’s cover so we could use just the cover. The second common problem, again not unique to this property is the curb at the enhance to the bathroom, we understand the reason for it but urge all hoteliers to design the top edge of the curb with a distinct, eye-catching design. Weary guests who are not expecting a curb can have real problems tripping on these. And the final common problem is that the floors of the shower stalls have no apparent anti-slip surface and in the absence of a simple grab bar can make entering and exiting a bit scary.

Great location, no air conditionner and the reception is almost always closed. The room was great and comfortable.

Excellent location but noisy

The staff was friendly and the location good, the overall experience wasn't to our satisfaction. There was a kitchen, but no plates or silverware, much less pots and pans to use. It rained harder outside than the water coming from the shower and was almost warmer. Only two of the washing machines worked and only one dryer which meant we could only do one load of laundry over several hours. I think we would have been better off somewhere else.

We had a terrific time and the accomodations were great! Loved the city and the hotel! We would love to return to both!

This is such a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and happy to help with anything you need. One problem is the noise! If you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night prepare to get no sleep till 2.30am as the hotel is situated above a nightclub! Even noise cancelling inner ear headphones were no match. The room can get very hot too as the air conditioner doesn’t seem to work. We complained about the noise and the staff kindly moved us to another room which was still loud but ever so slightly more bearable. Such a shame because without this my review would have been glowing, everything else was perfect! Great location!
