Really nice pub with lovely rooms. Staff lovely. Really nice food. Menu very good quality for a chain pub.

We had an unbelievably noisy fridge in our room. Very off putting!!

We stayed at the Bird in Hand for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After a lovely meal in Marlow, we wanted a cosy pub with a proper English feel — and this place was exactly that. We were greeted by a lovely landlady who recently got married, to the pub's chef, who welcomed us with complimentary glasses of Prosecco. It honestly made our day. The rooms were charming, full of thoughtful touches like a proper cafetière, an old‑fashioned radio, and beautiful vintage-style cushions. Breakfast was delicious. I had the best Eggs Benedict, and my husband enjoyed a full English — both cooked perfectly. All the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back, and we’ll happily recommend the Bird in Hand to anyone looking for a quintessential English pub and bed & breakfast experience. We loved it.

Staff helpful and polite

We had dinner one evening. Fish and chips good. The burger was sent back as it was undercooked and replaced. The replacement was fine
