. Cleanliness of room. Everything was nice.

The location is the center of town on 101 and it’s easily walkable to restaurants. I am writing this review because of the inflated weekend rate we were charged. The rate was 100% (or more) inflated because of activities in the area. It was unfair and unreasonable for the service we received from this motel. The room smelled heavily perfumed when we first walked in but as the day turned into evening, a smell of pet urine odor permeated from the old dirty carpet. Upon inspection I found a pet stain near the door, a pet stain near the corner of the bed, and a pet stain near the nightstand of the bed. These were repeated pet stains, impossible to get out of the carpet. There were also food crumbs at the base of the beds which made me fearful of what could be under the bed!!! So the room was not vacuumed before we took residence for the evening. The bathroom mirror was smeared and looked as if it was wiped with a towel only, so I ensured the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was heavy mold at the base of the back wall of the walk-in shower. The shower curtain was frayed at the bottom. The walls are thin. The following morning, there was a domestic incident in the room next door to us which prompted us to call the hotel manager. This was a very alarming and disturbing incident which made us feel very uncomfortable. Management assured us that the situation was taken care of. I read a recent previous review of a similar incident that the police were called. I would have felt very unsafe if I stayed there alone. I did not engage in the breakfast offerings. I left as soon as I could. I recommend staying somewhere else.

Nice clean simple property. What was needed in our trip along highway 101.

Staff were not particularly interactive No coffee available, only first thing in the morning.

I really appreciated how clean and tidy the room was, especially the bathroom and floors. There was a fridge with a freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well. There was plenty of parking and I was able to park close to my room, so I didn't have to go far while unloading/loading my bags. I also felt very safe at this location and felt very welcomed by all staff that I interacted with.

I don't really have any major complaints. The only thing that could have been better is a secure wifi network. Also, parking would have been a bit tight if I had a big car or truck. The parking lot seemed to be set up more for small compact cars.

The property called and said they're overbooked and had to cancel my reservation. That was May 17, 2026. Told me I would be refunded. It is now June 3rd, Booking hasn't done anything to resolve it and I just got hung up on when I called them. Message Travel lodge about my refund on booking and no response from them either. Why is is so fast for you to take our money but we have to jump through hoops just to get our money back. It's especially irritating when it's not the customers fault. I wont book with this place because it's obvious how much of a hassle it is already. And probably wont be using booking.com anymore either. No thanks to Travel lodge and booking.com
