This place is great. We stayed in the cottage instead of the main motel style side. Staff was very friendly and attentive and the location was convenient. Just a few minutes to both Carmel by the Sea downtown area as well as the barnyard shopping area.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel 2 nights while on our trip driving the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to San Diego. This hotel had all of the amenities we needed (only exception was our room didn't have a microwave). Room was clean & modern. Bed was comfortable. Great location to get to Carmel, Point Lobos State Preserve, Carmel Valley, Big Sur. Two shopping/dining areas (including a grocery store) within a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, comfortable, and beautiful surroundings. The staff here was very kind and friendly, and if our budget allowed we would readily have chosen to stay for longer! No water provided in the rooms but we were able to ask the front desk staff for some and they refilled our water bottles.

Quite pricey for a relatively small room, but we did choose to stay in a more expensive area (Carmel/Big Sur generally has pricier accommodations).

Walls were paper thin and unfortunately spent 3 nights with loud and rowdy neighbors. Staff did not handle the inconvenience

Great location. Beautiful grounds with mature cypress trees. The walking path was gorgeous with many varieties of flowers and very well kept, we enjoyed walking it with our dog several times a day. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the hot coffee/tea and cookies that were in the lobby each day. Walking distance from The Barnyard center that has many stores and dining options. We got a wonderful massages in the center and went to the Lafayette Bakery which is an authentic French Patisserie with so many choices. We ate there each morning and took a bunch to go on our way out of town for home. Housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and had nice linens.

We stayed in one of the vintage cottages. It was the 2nd one on the left past the office (I think it was #32) near the ice machine and maintenance sheds, laundry room. There are to many bright lights in that area and our room was lit up in the evening which made it hard to sleep. It needs some black out drapes because the mini blinds do not help with the issue. People came late at night to get ice and woke us up with their talking and filling up ice containers. The cottage badly needs to be updated. When we arrived the room was really stuffy and hot due to the old wall heater that has a pilot light that never goes off making the room uncomfortable in the summer. Shower/bathroom were not appealing at all. We felt this particular room was overpriced for what we got. We will stay again BUT in an updated room only.

Very clean and quite will definitely be back for a stay

Se oli ihan ok. Hinta-laatusuhde oli ihan okei, mutta sanoisin että paikka oli enemmänkin motelli

Majoituspaikassa kuului kaikki äänet läpi naapureista. Yläkerran naapurit oli todella äänekkäitä ja kaikki heidän ”hommailunsa” kuuluivat läpi todella ikävästi 😅
