Easy to find, just off A303. Room comfortable and decent breakfast. Good value

No hot water on evening we arrived or the next morning. Unable to shower

The hotel itself is very easily accessible just off the A303. The room was excellent value for money and had everything we needed for a single overnight stay en-route to Cornwall. Dinner was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The bar was welcoming and the staff warm and friendly.

It was a little warm in the room but a fan was supplied and the double doors and window provided some cooler air, so more of an observation than something we didn't specifically like - we appreciate its not easy to put in air-con in older buildings.

Very tasty and plentiful.

There was 4 of us in a room (parents and two kids) but only two bottles of complimentary water (one still one sparkling) and only two packs of biscuits. No much in the way of bathroom condiments. Only bar of soap and shower gel on the wall in the shower. Mattresses were not great.

Size of the room, breakfast selection. Powerful shower awesome over the heatwave.
