Hunters Lodge Inn

Well appointed room. Power shower is excellent. Good lighting in the room and sufficient power outlets. Well stocked bar and nice restaurant menu. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a near new bathroom. Parking was on the property. The breakfast was excellent! All the food was delicious each night.

The whole trip went seriously wrong when we checked as they did not have the accessible room available that we booked. We could not take a different room as they were all upstairs and my disability means that I cannot the climb stairs. In the booking I reminded them about an accessible room and I also followed it up with messages.

They were unable to help and we had to leave the premises to find a new place to stay at 5:00 PM

Location quiet near where I needed to be. Room was good and clean

lousy wi-fi reception. tv did not work due to poor signal. Was moved to another room where signal was a little better

Friendly staff and clean rooms

The location was the reason we stayed here, betweem Salisbury and Exeter, and close to Stourhead. We also chose this property because it had a pub attached, so we didn't have to go back out searching for dinner. There was also plenty of parking available.

The Inn was definitely "family-friendly, but it also felt just a little rundown. Carpets were a little shabby, the facilities were just "okay." The blonde hostess was a little inattentive, keeping at her work and not bothering to acknowledge us (even though she looked up and saw us) while we were standing there with luggage.
