Hotel was very dirty blood on the wall used towels

Dated property, probably from the 1940s has been kept up nicely. I had room 102 and everything worked well. Bed was comfortable, bedclothes were clean and in good condition. Staff is super friendly and professional. Room was warm despite outside temps down to 13 F. I stayed 3 nights and look forward to returning. Clearly the best deal in Saginaw. Nice neighborhood on the SW side of town with lots of shopping and food choices.

The property needs to be updated

The property is old and is in need of repair. The owner said that because Covid 19 business has been slow and he can't afford to update everything at this time. As soon as the pandemic is over he fully intends to fix up the property.

The bathroom in our room looked like it was recently updated, however, it was filthy. Cobwebs in the corners and insects flying around. Why put money into it if you're not going to maintain it? The walls were paper-thin and we could easily hear our neighbors talking. We put the A/C on fan to muffle the sound. The owner came around about 9AM to remind us to checkout. That's just plain rude and nosy, but I guess to be expected since I read about it in other reviews. One positive was the bed was comfortable.

The beds are hard and lumpy - never have had any so bad. Just terrible, couldn't sleep.

We reserved a queen bed room on Tuesday night for a Saturday night check in. We got there and they said they didn't have a queen bed but had one room left with two double beds and it would only cost us $20 more. It was late and the hotels around were sold out so we took it. The room was small and not very clean. There was a pair of black socks next to one of the beds. The frig and microwave were dirty. The next morning my wife talked to the owners wife who did not speak fluent English. She said she would refund the difference. We're still waiting.

The room smelled like smoke, the hair dryer fell off the wall in the bathroom, there was barely any hot water. We stayed 2 nights, when we came back the second day after being out the room had not been cleaned, the bed wasn't made, no clean towels it just so hapoened I had bought some towels while I was out.

Got there and no roms available, over booked

It looked like a crack house. Turned around n went somewhere else. Never even got out of car
