Hotel El Silencio del Campo

L'hotel és molt bonic i les habitacions precioses, ben equipades i confortables. Té hot springs i fauna. El personal de l'hotel va ser molt amable i van ajudar a buscar alternatives per esquivar la pluja. El tour Don Juan ens va encantar ( cafetals i xocolata)

When I am planning a trip I often go down a rabbit hole obsessing over details and reviews of various places and changing my mind a million times. I am so happy I landed on this hotel. Arriving there was like being greeted with a warm hug. The people are friendly and kind. The atmosphere is one of pure relaxation. There are multiple geothermal pools on the property. We spent one day soaking in the warm pools and looking at the volcano. It made all the difference to be able to come back here after a day of touring and slide into the warm pools. There is a ton of wildlife there. Multiple species of birds, we saw sloths in the trees, lizards. The hotel has a farm on site. Kids can milk cows and gather eggs. The restaurant was spectacular. Quite a varied menu and everything was amazing. We especially want to shout out May Ling who bartended. She was so friendly and attentive and remembered our drinks from night to night. The accommodations are your own little house. Very spacious and with a table and chairs on your own patio. It is easy to get from here to any of the tons of local tours in La Fortuna. Highly highly highly recommend!

Magical. We woke up to peacocks wandering around. Tons of birds everywhere. A family of ducks rested on a pier of a small, picturesque lake. The grounds are impeccable. The food was great. The thermal springs are meticulously maintained and wonderful to soak in.

We loved it all. Plan to go back!

The hotel locates along main road, 10 minutes drive from La Fortuna, so easy to get to. There are several nice hot spring pools on site, a farm with cows, chicken, plants etc. We have seen many birds on property, also seen a sloth on the tree:) We did not try its restaurant but the breakfast is delicious. Room is spacious, clean with everything we need for stay. Thanks to very professional staff - we had a great time there.

We booked this hotel via booking.com. Unlike other hotels, El Silencio sent a link to request payment directly. My slow response (fear of potential scam) caused the loss of my first booking. I had to check with booking.com, rearranged my plan and made a booking second time.
