A superior guest house. Extremely comfortable and very clean. Many original features. Our room did not have an en suite, rather a private bathroom along the hall, which was large, with lots of natural light and lovely. The owners are an environmentally responsible couple who encourage energy conservation and non-chemical cleaning products. In addition, they were particularly warm and welcoming. The premises are close to the beach and the town. All in all, a delight and we cannot wait to return.

The only slight downside was that our private bathroom was across the landing, but it was a lovely bathroom, the bed was very comfortable and the room very quite.

It was like a home from home. Linda and Richard were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great, with nine choices! We would definitely recommend and return if back in the area. They have thought of everything you might need in your room which was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. *****

Though only a short stay my impression was very positive. Owners and staff unfailingly polite, informative and seemimgly never too busy to engage in conversation. Ideally situated with seemingly nothing at more than 15mins walking distance. If I should return to Ayr the hotel would be my first choice😊

Excellent location - convenient for both town and beach. My room was clean and comfortable and good value for money. The owners were helpful and welcoming.

Great hotel for our visit to Ayr racecourse. Would be handy for the beach but as it was the end of November and a storm was raging we avoided this. Close to many good quality restaurants in the town centre.
