"fabulous hotel"

the hotel and food were brilliant and staff were cheery and friendly. the weather was nice so we were able to sit outside.

room was very warm ( it was sunny during the day ) but there was a tower fan in the wardrobe which was very good and made the room temperature a lot cooler.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting, staff were lovely, food amazing, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, outside areas just as well cared for, rooms were lovely too!

I cannot fault anything about the Devonport.

"Among the best rooms we've ever stayed in"

Second time we've stayed and each time the rooms have been absolutely beautiful - stylishly furnished, well equipped, comfortable and spotless. The self-catering facilities in the apartment rooms are excellent, with premium-brand white goods that look like new.

The dinner menu, and the dinner itself, was better on our first stay. On one occasion, a waitress took our order by memory then when it arrived she'd got it wrong.
