Glenan Lodge Self Catering

Wonderful 2 night stay. Made very welcome, very homely place to stay. Great breakfast and evening meal if you want it is available.

Kay went out of her way to accommodate us and her other guests. She was so fun and personable. The lodge is on the quietest possible street. Short drive to Loch Ness, Inverness, and the Culloden Battlefield.

My grandmother owned Glenan Lodge in the early 1970s. We now live in the states and were visiting with our adult children. Kay was such a warm and gracious host. She even invited us back into the kitchen and back rooms that I remembered as a boy so I could bore my kids with childhood reminiscences. I hope it won't be so long until our next visit!

Great place in out of the way location - you could walk to the Distillery!

Great little find! Kay was very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. She provided an evening meal at minimal notice: mince, patties and "skirlie" (oatmeal and onion dish I hadn't encountered before).Lovely longe with log stove. comfortable bedroom, plentiful breakfast. What more could you ask for!

Really lovely cosy home from home place with a warm warm welcome from someone genuine. Like staying in a proper family home.

Fantastic! The owner was very hospitable, good food, dining room has fireplace, Tomatin distillery is a five minute walk(best distillery tour as far as being informative), beautiful area to go walking, safe, and easy parking.

The hotel is very nice. The breakfast and dinner are good. Room is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We have a good stay for two nights.

beautiful home. A little out of way but well worth the drive. Rooms are comfortable but bed was a little hard. breakfast was so good with choices of hot and cold food.
