Baytree Lodge Chester

Easy to access, parking available and just what I needed for one night.

The WiFi wasn't working the evening I was there but it was ok for one night.

Very clean and comfortable with excellent restaurant.

A lot of stairs to get to the room as it was on the top floor

Didn’t have breakfast left to early for work, Location was good

The property is quiet as it only has a couple of rooms.

It is dated. The room required redecorating. This was a last moment booking. Unfortunately the host was caught on the hop. The bedding wasn’t clean and had holes in it. The room had cobwebs in the corners. There were very limited tea and coffee in the room. By that I mean 1 sachet of coffee for two people. One pack of coffee biscuits. Considering this room only cost £135 and no breakfast I do not consider it good value. Our booking for the next day at a different hotel was £123 and included a full breakfast. The rooms and accommodation were immaculate.
