Lovely decor, room clean and comfy. Staff so kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Powys Lodge to anyone wanting to stay in Scarborough. It exceeded my expectations and the breakfast was really nice.

"Friendly and warm place I would definitely stay again when in North Yorkshire"

I stayed in a single room, but it had everything I needed for a short stay - a bed, a sofa, a desk with a TV, a small wardrobe, a bathroom with a shower of course. I loved the freshly cooked breakfast. Tina was so nice and sweet, always checking if I needed anything in my room, she made me feel like home not in a hotel. The location was just perfect - easy to get to the train station or the seaside.

Good to have a fridge in as room 3, along with an extra tv in an adjoining lounge area. Fabulous scented towels Local produce at breakfast. Friendly host Leafy, quiet residential area close to the beach, Spa Venue & Italian Gardens.

Lovely B&B located within walking distance of the town centre, run by a brilliant and lovely host who is full of advice and information. Room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was delicious
