Links Lodge - B&B

Both the location and the B & B itself were excellent. Staff went the extra mile and the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We were made very welcome by the owners, the room was just what we expected - spacious, comfortable, lovely and warm, and the seaview from the window could not have been better. (see photos both taken from the bedroom window) The cooked breakfast was good and set us up nicely for the day ahead. If you want some negatives then you could say the shower is a little on the small side, and car parking is on the street. Having said that I did shower, and park the car, without difficulty.

Loved the room big & spacious the view was brilliant overlooking the sea. Large TV. A really warm good welcome & given choices of where to eat out. Bed was massive, twa singles together very soft bed my back did not like it. And noisy children playing outside our room. Would we go back?, yes!. When we said we was leaving the man started crying, hahaha

Brilliant place. Relaxed, friendly staff. Breakfast outstanding. Room relaxed, comfy, clean, full of features. Our room was at the back so no sea views but still a very high standard.

This is one of the most pleasant hotel stays that we have experienced after years of travel in different countries. The hosts were exceptional and we could not fault anything to do with the property during our 3 night stay.

Made so welcome, moved to an apartment which suited us to the ground ! Definitely go back and recommend to others.

We were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was bright and airy. Everything was very clean. There was a selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and bottled water both still and sparkling provided. We were even offered fresh milk if we did not like the small long life sachets. Great view of the golf course and the sea from our room. Plenty of storage space with a free standing heater if you did not want the radiators on and heated towel rail. The towels were soft and fluffy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. There was a selection of cereals, two fruit juices, lovely fresh fruit including grapefruit. The cooked breakfast was delicious and we were asked if there was anything else that we wanted. The building was the original Golf Club house and the dining room was full of interesting artifacts.

Due to fight cancellations, we arrived at 3am instead of the expected 7pm, but Links Lodge couldn't have been more accommodating. They left outside lights on, the front door open and the keys to our room in the door, to make sure we could get in and straight to bed as quickly as possible. They even extended breakfast time to allow us a little more sleep! Absolutely superb service and very much appreciated after a fairly horrific day of travelling from the south coast. Sadly, we didn't get much time to enjoy the location, but the views of the beach and golf course from our bedroom window were spectacular and occasionally punctuated by a Typhoon from RAF Lossiemouth, which we enjoyed. We wouldn't hesitate to return the next time we're in the area - hopefully we'll have a bit more time to enjoy the facilities.

Accommodations were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Across the street from Morey Golf Course, visitors welcome.
