Lovely, family-run hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Unexpected room upgrade and delicious cooked breakfast. Perfect for our trip

Bathroom was very hot with no means of turning the heated towel rail down

Clean comfortable modern excellent service breakfast was superb cooked fresh. Fresh strong coffee was lovely. Toiletries in the room. We had crisps popcorn biscuits nescafe sachets excellent so many places you go now has cheap versions of coffee. Water in the room also hair dryer iron mini ironing board our room had large deep bath and separate shower lovely crisps white towels and bedding. Bed was comfortable with excellent pillows. Just 5*

The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. It’s a very welcoming hotel. It’s a very clean and charming place. Fully stocked bar. Definitely worth the visit and the price.

Old sash windows have become difficult (or virtually impossible) open.
