Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas

A wonderful stay. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Our butler Ping was excellent. Reserved sun beds on the beautiful beach was an unexpected surprise that added to the relaxation. The rooms are beautiful and cleaning was excellent. Our expectations were exceeded and look forward to returning in the future.

We had the most wonderful stay at Anantara Rasananda in Koh Phangan. The resort is absolutely exquisite – set within lush, beautifully maintained gardens and perfectly positioned on a stunning stretch of beach. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful tropical haven. The staff were all absolutely amazing – warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble and their kindness really elevated our stay. Our accommodation was simply stunning. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable, with a separate walk-in wardrobe and a super spacious bathroom that felt luxurious and indulgent. Outside, we had our own private garden area complete with a small plunge pool – the perfect spot to unwind in total privacy. We spent a few very happy and relaxed days here and left feeling completely refreshed. A truly special place that we would return to in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to anyone. Sun, sea, sand, service, scenery - a memorable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Anantara Rasananda and hope to be back soon :) From the moment of our arrival, when we were served the amazing Aperol Attraction welcome cocktail, we felt welcome and just in the right place. We experienced the most stunning beach, the kindest and most caring service, you can imagine. The cuisine is excellent in the restaurants! The breakfast buffet selection is fantastic – the presentation is beautiful and very thoughtful. All the staff are highly professional and incredibly friendly and caring. Whether it's room service, the restaurants and bars, or the beach – everything is top-notch. Special thanks to our personal coordinator, Tua, who made our stay unforgettable. A truly special place that is more than worth the price. Anyone who comes here feels welcome and valued.

We stayed at the resort for a week and had a truly enjoyable experience. The entire team was very friendly and welcoming, especially the front desk agent, Ping, who took great care of all our wishes and made us feel very well looked after. The hotel’s beach is absolutely beautiful, the breakfast was extraordinary, and the rooms were spotless and well maintained. We honestly have nothing to complain about. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would happily return

Well, what a place to stay!! We have stayed in some wonderful places over the years and this is truly one of them. If you want nightlife and clubs look elsewhere. If you want tranquility, beauty and service then this is up there. From the welcome at the speedboat transfer from Ko Samui to the hospitality of Top on arrival, this was truly a sensational experience. We stayed in a lagoon pool villa, which was simply sublime. The accommodation was beautiful, with its own plunge pool and sala to relax in. Top, our villa host, accommodated every need that we had. The resort is located on a beautiful bay on the island, with a fantastic beach. Your beach bed is reserved and there is also the choice of the large pool at the centre of the hotel complex (although very limited poolside beds are available). The villa had everything you could wish for and the plunge pool was just an absolute treat. The size was excellent for a five night stay, beautifully printed and cleaned with all amenities that you could wish for. Dining in the hotel was excellent, though expensive ( but in line with the costs of any other hotel of this standard). There are excellent restaurants in the local village just a minutes walk away if you want something more low key. The breakfast was substantial with both à la carte and buffet selections to choose from. The dining options were Japanese and also a mixed restaurant which should accommodate nearly every desire. The sea was warm but a little rough as it coincided with full moon and meant arrival was handled at a pier 30 minutes drive away rather than arriving at the beach by speedboat. - no great issue but something to be aware of. The overall vibe is that of a relaxed beach resort with plentiful sand around ( the breakfast restaurant is situated on sand). The staff, like at our previous hotel on Ko Samui, were excellent, managing that beautiful balance between professionalism, friendliness and service with absolute skill. Finally as we were celebrating our silver anniversary we took the option of designer dining in the privacy of our villa on our final night. This was an excellent meal for a special occasion with our villa beautifully prepared and the meal served by Sakko in the most memorable way. All in all a truly unforgettable stay with wonderful memories.

Fantastic peaceful location with a very helpful staff that there were ready to do all to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Room and the atmosphere were very very good. Outstanding breakfast. If you are looking for luxury in a beautiful setting you must consider this hotel as one of your top choices. Our villa was beautiful, spacious a few steps from the water line. Food was superb and staff could do enough for us. Over all a top hotel, can't fault it.
