"A good option if you don’t mind an outside cabin."

We were annoyed to have our credit card demanded to photocopy in case of damages, which says a bit about the hotel. I’m not even sure it’s legal! But the cabin was excellent with all amenities provided. Fortunately it was dry weather during our stay! The pub is close at hand and is well known for good food and a wide selection of drinks, as well as large TVs for sports events. Quite a good choice for the Napier Festival period.

TV didn’t work. Someone came to check but couldn’t fix it.. No idea what’s in the conditioner bottle but it isn’t conditioner. Very noisy water sounds from next door. Nice location but that’s about it. Travelling for work and thankful it’s is just for one night. Come on, be better.

Booking.com clearly states breakfast included but that is not true. The restaurant was booked for a private function and we were told that we can have dinner in the pub adjacent to the restaurant that is visited by the locals for drinks and betting with tables and chairs not designed for a relaxed dinner. My spaghetti bolognaise had spaghetti, bolognaise sauce and less than a teaspoon meat.

The toilet was not working properly was piling up the water and has to wait to come down for another person. Said with free wifi, they denied giving the wifi when said mentioned not working but the tv was working not sure. Not friendly for a family who wants to cook and eat no oven , microwave was not functioning but replaced when request .

We forget some of our stuff but we can not make contact to ask of our stuff is found and can be retourned to our adress we don’t like that
