The Brandize Guest House

Very welcoming lovely hotel. Thank you Tim and Vicky for a fabulous stay. Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms comfortable and cosy. Loved all the little touches like cookies left in the room, thank you! Tim and Vicky are perfect hosts and recommended places to visit during our stay. Would definitely recommend the Brandize. We just stayed 6 nights at this property and we had the most enjoyable time. The owners are welcoming and friendly and we felt very comfortable and at home here. The family bedroom had enough space and the beds were very comfortable. We had clean towels every day and there is a collapsible hanging gadget and wash bowel which came in handy. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with complimentary chocolate on arrival. The breakfast was very good quality and we had options for fresh fruit and yogurt when we didn't want a full breakfast. The living room is relaxing and very peaceful I enjoyed using this space in the evening. They had a Ice making machine which came in handy when I wanted a nice drink at the end of the day.. The other guests were nice and we enjoyed a chit chat at breakfast. The beach wasn't far, in fact it was a beautiful walk through the abbey grounds which we enjoyed everyday. I normally stay in larger hotels but this totally changed my mind that a smaller property can make you feel like a home from home. I will definitely return and can't recommend this guesthouse enough. The location is excellent , the owners are lovely people and they are really helpful. The breakfast was perfect my son love Tims waffle .

Very welcoming, clean, fresh and nicely decorated. An amazing home cooked English breakfast and continental choices too. Very relaxing lounge with tv, internet access, books and boardgames.

It was a very nice stay, we stayed there for two nights.The best breakfast we had on our Journey through Devon /Cornwall. We got some information about the Dartmoor und also to maps about the aera of Dartmoor. Tim and Vicky are the best host,very friendly! We can recomend this place! Franz & Liliane
