Chris & Steve are exceptionally welcoming even Trevor the dog. The breakfast was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. Would highly recommend this guest house. Keep up the great work. Much love Emma & Garry xx

The location was close to the tram stop, so convenient for us. Breakfast was okay and I liked the dining room.

Very small room upstairs - just for a double bed with no bedside tables to put anything on, tiny bathroom, sink in bedroom, bed with the springs which you can feel, overall very dated with a lot of weird small details like peeling wall paper, wall cracks etc.. But we were going to stay just two nights so we said that will be ok. The first night was quite challenging, it was very windy outside and the cold draft from the window was uncomfortable, the wind blew the curtains, the small radiator was barely warm so it was very cold inside. Anyway, we were okay, next morning after the breakfast we spent the next day out. When we came back around 10pm, we politely asked the owners for some additional heater, and mentioned it was very cold there last night. They came upstairs to check with denial, but then bled the radiator with some inappropriate comments about what we expected for our money and how we shouldn't complain about anything... We paid £130 for this tiny room for two nights. The discussion unfortunately graduated and ended with us leaving at night and driving over two hours back home rather than staying there another night. . We were very upset, the owner was pushing us from the door outside and shouting at us on the street. It was a nightmare. We absolutely don't understand the ratings, this "hotel" should be nowhere near 8.8 points and we found it very misleading.

Breakfast amazing. Really cosy dining room. Chris and Steve and Trevor the dog are so friendly and welcoming. Bedroom warm and cosy. Shower hot. Room cleaned regularly by Sam who did a great job keeping things tidy.
