Diadem Hotel

Great location. Friendly staff. Water as well as usual tea and coffee in the room. Good breakfast.

I had trouble regulating the temperature of the shower. I only had a rucksack but would have found stairs challenging with a case.

Great location to the beach and entertainment. The host was very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable and clean room. Very enjoyable stay.

Nothing to dislike

Excellent location and always able to find parking within the permitted area/on the same street as the hotel. Very close to the arcades and pier, as well as high street and Joyland. Breakfast had a good choice of food, but not overwhelming and enough for fussy eaters, like my youngest is. The family suite was great as it had a separate door to the main bedroom area so we could put kids to bed without disturbing them afterwards. Also had a chiller/ fridge which was handy to keep items cool on the warmer days, and we were given enough towels to see us through (4 days/3 nights stay).

The main part of the suite with the double bed was probably big enough that it could have had space to put in a king size instead (by taking out one of the bedside tables but people will always have a different opinion on this), especially as my partner is on the taller side so he found it a bit cramped. As it was August, it would have been great if they had changed the duvets out for lighter summer ones but we muddled through and wouldn't have been a problem if it was cooler.

Struttura tipica inglese. Vicinanza alla spiaggia e al parchetto con giochi per bambini. Camera con tutto il necessario, pulita anche se presente un po’ di polvere (causa della tipica moquette). Presente anche un mini frigo, ottimo! Staff gentile e disponibile.

Abbiamo soggiornato durante il week end e avevamo la stanza 6 all’ultimo piano, confinante con la 5 e, sebbene i vicini cercassero di non fare rumori, i muri sono fini e si sentiva quanto entravano e uscivano (sono rientrati alle 3:20 am).

Such a warm and friendly welcome! Lovely room, clean and comfortable with lots of teas and coffees, good shower with BIG towels. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Quiet road but close to the sea front with easy street parking (permit given on arrival at the house). So different from the B&Bs of my youth 🤣 - a really enjoyable night at the seaside! Yarmouth has some amazing old buildings as well as good beach walks and great fish and chips!
