Nice spot Excellent for the show ground Food could have been better more checking before it comes out of the kitchen veg wasn't cooked potatoes were like warm the pub was busy on food but that doesn't mean standards should be lost Better it goes out right rather than rushed Overall a nice pub which I won't use again

More care needed before food is sent out

Good location for what we wanted to do locally. Nicely decorated and welcoming - menu looked fine but being Sunday no food after 4pm which was fine. Great breakfast - plenty of choice and well cooked 😊

Our room could have done with a couple of comfy chairs and was a little noisy because of fans from the kitchen but the went off at about 5pm as it was Sunday

Excellent location, breakfast was really good.

Arrived on a Sunday and only available food was a roast dinner.

The ambience of the Swan Inn was fantastic and the environment of the pub and the restaurant was really nice. The staff were pretty poorly trained and their attitude in general was not great. They tried one person in the evening was great the rest of the 5 that we interacted with were not so great. The staff in the morning were great and the breakfast was really good.

It was clean but unfortunately the bed had dips in both sides. To be environmentally friendly they didn't provide single use soap or shampoo sachets (great) however they didn't provide a refillable bottle of shampoo and body wash which you would normally expect. You either had to go down to reception in the evening before your share or in the morning in your pyjamas to get a single use sachet. I used the hand soap that they provided to wash my hair and clean my body. Also for environmental reasons they didn't make up your room if you're on a multi-room stay. Normally you would expect at the very least a hotel to make your bed and tidy up when you're paying £115. If I've been paying £60 a night I might have found this almost acceptable. It felt cheap. You could have course have asked for them to come and make up the room but again for £115...

Location was good for our needs, nice selection at breakfast, nice room, plenty of parking

bed was not that comfortable and creaked every time you moved

Staff were very friendly, food excellent, location brilliant. Everything clean. Room good sized. Easy parking.

Bed a bit uncomfortable and sloped ceiling in bathroom made it hard to shower.
