This is the second time I have visited the Swan and it was just as good as last time! The food is amazing, especially the breakfast which is second to none, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. My room was warm and comfortable, and there was everything I needed close at hand. I'm already trying to work out when I can stay there again.

I liked everything about it! But it is a very busy pub, so things are quite lively during the day. It is very quiet at night though.

Good all round experience

There’s some good independant stopovers in that area . Ideal if travelling 5 hour drives . This is one of them . Fantastic traditional place. Cooked breakfast by coal fire . In country setting

The location of the pub was idyllic, and the staff were very approachable.

The room could do with being updated. The twin beds had noticeable springs, and the pillows were very lumpy. The bathroom floor had a hole under the floor covering, which was noticeable when entering the bathroom.

Lovely place and kept to a very good standard. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Would certainly recommend it and stay there again
