Castle View Bed and Breakfast

Absolutely everything, we had a stunning room and massive en-suite bathroom. We loved our stay, everything about it from start to finish was 5 star, I can't recommend here highly enough. To call it a b and b just doesn't do it justice. It's more like a deluxe boutique hotel. The hosts, Carmen and Dave, have thought of everything to make sure your stay is as comfortable and special as possible. Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully cooked quality ingredients. The parking sounds complicated, but it really isn't, we managed to get on the small car park just across the road both nights without any problem, and you are given precise instructions where to park. We will certainly be back, if you choose to stay here, you certainly will not be disappointed.

Absolutely nothing.

Absolute gem of a place, fabulous location. The B&B is spotless and beautifully decorated to a very high standard. Carmen has great taste and the quality of finishing is excellent. Breakfast was wonderful and so fresh, we will definitely be back.

Proximity to town centre. Being able to come and go as required. Delightful host. Wonderful breakfast at exceptional reasonable price.

There is nothing to not to like about Castle View.

Beautiful Bed

Beautifully restored period property with a modern twist. Spacious room, smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery located in a modern kitchenette. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. The B&B is located a 5 minute walk to the high street. I really enjoyed my stay. Carmen, the host is lovely and very welcoming. Will definitely be back to stay.

We stayed in the smaller twin room. The room was lovely, Carmen was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable. The fridge was stocked with milk and water, plus some breakfast items ie croissants and jam. The room was very clean and smelled lovely, Everything you could need really. I also noticed the bathroom had some sanitary items in a little box which I've never seen anywhere else do before - really thought of everything! Parking was right outside - use the carpark opposite as we noticed someone had parked directly outside the bnb and had recieved a parking ticket but Carmen made sure we were informed of the parking rules before we arrived and also again when we checked in . Brilliant place, beautiful building and lovely atmosphere.

Literally the only thing that disappointed us was the TV not being a smart TV so we couldn't watch a movie on Netflix like we had planned but overall a very small niggle.
