⭐️ Mixed Experience at Turtles Inn – Great Location, Poor Reception Service I stayed at Turtles Inn for a week with my best friend at the end of August. While the hotel has charm and is well-located, the overall experience was let down by poor service at the reception. 🛬 Check-In: A Rough Start We arrived around 12 PM and were met by a receptionist named Wessa. While check-in time is officially 3 PM (which is fine), his attitude was cold and dismissive. He told us no rooms were available, but eventually handed us the key to Room 103—a small, uncomfortable room with a terrible bathroom. It was clear this room had been available, so the delay felt unnecessary and poorly handled. 🙌 Shoutout to Marco – A Real Lifesaver Thankfully, Marco from the staff stepped in. He was welcoming, professional, and understanding. He promised to move us to a better room the next morning—and he did! We were transferred to Room 209, which was far more comfortable, though still basic. Marco truly made a difference in our stay. 🍽️ Breakfast at Camino – The Highlight! Breakfast was served at Camino restaurant, and it was by far the best part of our stay. The food was fresh and delicious, and the team there was incredibly warm and friendly. Special thanks to the gentleman with glasses—the most hospitable person we met during our entire time in El Gouna. 👎 Check-Out: A Disappointing Ending Unfortunately, we had to deal with Wessa again at checkout. He argued with my friend, claiming we were assigned to Room 103 (based on the key card sleeve). He failed to update the system when Marco moved us, and instead of acknowledging the mistake, he was defensive and unhelpful.

Rooms are too small but no problem with this. Breakfast wasn’t fresh most of the days (very bad)
