Lawlors Hotel Dungarvan

Centrally located, car parking was easy accessible and safe. Room had a modern bathroom which was lovely and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Room was incredibly hot for the second floor but only a minor issue.

Breakfast was terrible and rooms to warm

The bed and piĺows were uncomfortable No air-conditioning in room. No iron when we got am iron it wasn't even a steam iron. Breakfast was poor, no organisation. No milk on tables.. most items on hot food stands were were empty,

Location in the town was fantastic. Staff were nice and they kept all areas very clean day to day.

The worn out furniture was a disgrace. The carpets in the lobby, hallways and bedroom were unacceptably old and had decades of wear and grim. The staff clearly work very hard to keep this hotel clean day to day but the management should be ashamed that they have not paid enough care and attention to this hotel. Painting, new carpet and replacement of lobby furniture is the minimum requirement to lift this hotel and allow all it's staff have some pride in their surroundings.I very rarely leave negative reviews as I prefer to contact management privately if I have a problem but this is so evident that they must be aware of it. Unless the business is in financial difficulty, I don't think there is an excuse for this.
