Lawlors Hotel Dungarvan

Great location, friendly staff, room was clean excellent. Nice breakfast selection, buffet style. Lots of facilities nearby, shops pubs and restaurants.

Room 311 was a little outdated and sink stopper was jamming hence couldn't release water but did eventually.

Nothing really, but glad to be back before 11pm as we had no way of ringing the night porter

The staff were lovely

Bed was comfortable. The shower was great. TV was a smart tv so lots of content.

Leaking ceiling outside my room with a bucket on the floor. Noisy when people were in the corridor.

Hallways in poor state of repair some rooms not updated some of the bar staff rude & unfriendly and breakfast was a sad unfriendly affair with no beans

Small twin room, window looked on to an alleyway, and although I appreciate there are other guests, I had asked for a nice view from room, and quiet, but noisy alleyway.

The room itself was comfortable and clean

Stairway was very smelly

Getting back into the hotel after 11pm is hard work. There’s a number to call on the door but nobody answers the phone and exactly the same thing happened when I stayed 5 years ago. Left stood in the cold for over 20 minutes hammering on the door. Very frustrating.

Was very expensive for a 3 star hotel. Stayed in a 5 star hotel not far away recently for basically the same price
