Lets itself down by only having hand held shower and no curtain. For a 6 footer very difficult not to get water everywhere. Hosts lovely people. Food Great and Bar very reasonable. Some Rooms on main road so a bit noisy

Fantastic welcome by the proprietor, Steve. I booked 90 mins before arriving and was welcomed by name and when I enquired about food at 10:30pm he made a plate for me as I’d been travelling all day. Sat at the bar with a sandwich and a beer - I can recommend the exmoor gold and was made to feel at ease and welcomed with conversation flowing, equally if I hadn’t wanted to chat, a quiet corner and newspaper was available. Well positioned for my meeting in Bridgwater and breakfast was buffet for cereals and brought to you for the cooked stuff to your order. When on business in the area in the future, I would stay again.
