The hotel itself was good, but one incident significantly affected our overall experience. At around 1:30 AM, we returned to the hotel and were quietly talking among ourselves while entering the property. We were not shouting, disturbing guests, or behaving inappropriately. The night reception staff did not have any issue with our behavior. However, a security guard approached us in a very rude and aggressive manner. Instead of speaking politely, he repeatedly gestured for us to be silent and ordered us to go to our room. When one of our friends briefly entered the pool, the guard became extremely hostile, shouting that we did not respect him, telling us to leave Cyprus, threatening us, and demanding that we immediately go to our room. What was most disturbing was not the request itself, but the way it was handled. His behavior was intimidating, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. We felt threatened rather than assisted by a member of the hotel’s staff. It is unfortunate because this single incident seriously damaged an otherwise positive impression of the hotel.
