We loved our stay and will definitely consider returning! Pros: Excellent customer service, beautiful landscaping with palm trees and flowering hedges, quiet atmosphere, close proximity to the beach, substantial continental breakfast, elevators, spacious studio room with a very large mini fridge and a soaking tub, ice cold water available at the beach. Cons: Not very many... we had a minor inconvenience with a broken kitchen sink handle, but we were okay without it. The beach towels were small and thin and they could use an upgrade. If the water fountain at the pool was in working order, it could have made the atmosphere even more delightful. Other than that, no complaints. Don't hesitate on staying here!

Villa del Mar was the perfect spot for our first (and any subsequent) visit to beautiful Turks and Caicos! Situated behind, but not in the shadow of, larger beachfront hotels this property has convenient beach access and there are numerous shopping and dining options within easy walking distance. This hotel is enclosed by manicured hedges, the front office and four main lodging buildings. Each building has four floors. Our second floor room was spacious, with king bed, sleeper sofa, comfortable chair, cable tv, mini fridge/freezer, a secure safe, kitchenette sink, nicely appointed bathroom and a stacked washer/dryer combo in the utility closet! My only mini gripe is that there weren't any charging ports in the room. All rooms face out onto a well landscaped oasis of palms, bougainvilleas and red frangipani that surrounded the two pools and outdoor spa. Every morning at 7:30 there was a generous spread of continental breakfast items and beverages. I want to add that the property has great security and we at no time felt unsafe during our stay here or nearby. The staff at Villa del Mar knocked our visit out of the park by any metric. At the front desk Lakeithra, Wesline and Olivier kept smiles on our faces for the entire week with their friendly and engaging manner, and they offered great local dining and sightseeing suggestions while enjoying my array of superhero rashguards. Villa del Mar's private beachfront area is spotlessly maintained by twin brothers Lerone and Kerone, who will take care of your every need (including kayak rentals, day trips, etc.) while you soak up the sun or read under the umbrella on fantastic Grace Bay beach. We generally opt to forego all inclusive when traveling. That's what works for us. Villa del Mar offers an outstanding base of operations for the Turks and Caicos visitor, with lovely accommodations and customer service located close to everything you could want from an island vacation at a reasonable rate. And a peaceful place to return to after your day of adventure.

Excellent staff, rooms and the beach is few minute walk away. The twins who are the beach attendants are super helpful and happy. The ladies on the front desk are awesome, such great customer service. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Villa Del Mar was perfectly located walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and beach. The staff was pleasant and professional. There are 2 pools and a hot tub. Very clean. We had 2 bedroom suite and it was very spacious with a full kitchen. Would recommend this property

I love this little resort it’s our second time here!! I requested a ground floor room because of a recent back injury and they couldn’t accommodate so they gave us a third floor room which was fine because there is an elevator BUT the elevator broke!!! Walking 3 flights of stairs is not a good idea!! Also, trying to get a chair around the pool started being a problem because guest decide to put their belongings on the chairs in the morning and go to the beach all day BUT WANT A CHAIR AT THE POOL SO WHEN They RETURN from the beach THEY HAVE A one!! So everyone else well the hell with us!!! I sat at the pool for 3 hours and all the reserved chairs were still unoccupied!! There needs to be a sign at least stating you can’t reserve chairs and if your going to be away from it for any length of time you lose it!!
