A lot of thought seems to have gone into creating unique rooms and a nice setting. The breakfast was fabulous. Great choice, much variety, healthy options. The service was impeccable. Great coffee at breakfast! The room was spacious and had some beautiful furniture. Very good shower, and meticulously cleaned every day.

To be fair, what we didn't like was much influenced by rare circumstances (although becoming rapidly more frequent as we avoid taking real measures to address the climate emergency)- we were there in a heatwave, 32 degrees, on the top floor of the hotel, no aircon, unbearably hot. There was thankfully a fan but this was insufficient to stop the heat; windows could only open very slightly (understandable) and there was a lot of unavoidable traffic noise. Instant coffee sachets (yuck) - a small coffee machine may add to the overall experience.

Very clean, central, great decor and lovely staff and breakfast. Beds very comfortable. Great place, highly recommend.

The property was exactly as advertised, a boutique B&B, based in a great location with an easy walk from the train station. Even though the B&B was ‘sandwiched’ between 2 bars, I didn’t find this to be noisy at all. Great continental breakfast, all staff working at breakfast time were really attentive to the guests & there was always ample food available for breakfast. It was really easy having the keypad entry. I thought a nice little touch was the availability of fresh milk to enjoy with your tea & coffee in your room.

If I had one tiny gripe it, & am sure was specific to the room I was staying in, was the shower. I was slightly confused about how to use it, however making contact via the email address, this soon answered my question. I found this not to be the best of showers but safe to say it did the job.

Ease of entry. Lovely room in a great location and beautifully furnished. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast.

Up a lot of stairs (my own fault really for not contacting the hotel direct) Like just about every hotel I've ever stayed in the pillows were lumpy and soft.
