Our room was at the top floor in the main building. Although comfortable enough , it was furnished with an odd selection of old fashioned furniture.

GBAs we wanted countryside, the location was great. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The rooms were comfortable, and contained all that we required.
We liked everything, but my husband would have preferred a darker hand pulled ale in the bar! (Nit picking)

GBI booked the Pack Horse because it had good reviews and was well located for what our family wanted to do. The rooms were clean and fit for purpose, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Overall enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.
