The Earldale is a fantastic property, cleanliness is exceptional. its a nice chilled vibe, operating a bar on honestly. The breakfast was really nice, always measure on how the eggs are done and they were fantastic. James and Lewis were great hosts.

This is a hidden gem in ilfracombe. The hosts make this place what it is with the added touches. The breakfast is so lovely with additional dishes like homemade marmalade, cakes and granola bowls. The rooms are beautifully decorated and so clean We wouldn't hesitate in booking again

The location was good, great to have parking. We loved that character of the decor. The house is beautiful. We didn't use the bar facilities but we thought this was a great touch. We really used this as a base so sadly we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast either. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly.

Not a dislike but we wanted to stay in one of the premium rooms as they are more grand and the bathrooms are bigger. We'll be revisiting when these are available.

"Such a lovely place to stay"

James and Lewis were wonderful hosts, made me feel immediately welcome and James’ cooking was amazing. The room was comfortable and perfect for what I needed and the location was great for me to amble to the harbour and shops. I would absolutely stay here again, as a solo female it felt safe and comfortable so would recommend.

"Amazing B&B and location"

Nothing to dislike. Fabulous location. We stayed in room 2. Very spacious…. Super King size bed which was very comfortable. Lewis and James amazing hosts. Cooked breakfast/homemade muffins very much appreciated. Will stay for longer next time!
