The Chava Resort

一番狭い部屋でも驚くほどの大きさで、２ベッドルーム、大きなリビング、キッチン付きであった。食洗機や洗濯機も付属している。ルームサービスやプールサイドの食事もおいしかった。室内は清潔であったが、建物などの清掃はあまり行き届いていない印象。 プールはやや深いため、子供は遊びにくい。 周囲のコンビニで食品を購入して部屋で食べる事もできる。 近くのビーチが工事中であったのが残念。

ホテルは清潔で広さも十分です。キッチン完備で長期滞在向け。シービューの部屋ですが、海から遠く木々に邪魔されほとんど海は見えません。プールビューの部屋がいいでしょう。

プーケットは初めてでしたが、すばらしいホテルにあたり、ラッキーでした。部屋は非常に広く、我々の滞在したは最も下のクラスの部屋でしたが、ベッドルーム、シャワー、トイレがそれぞれ二つずつありました。好きなものをオーダーするタイプの朝食も質が高く、数日間の滞在なら、飽きることはありません。 滞在客はほとんど欧米の人で、日本人を含めたアジア人の姿は見かけませんでした。したがって、従業員との英語でのコミュニケーションは必須ですが、リゾート気分を味わうには良いと思います。 観光を考えた時の立地はやや悪いですが、タクシーに乗ればどこでも行けます。それよりも都会の喧騒を離れて静かに過ごせる事の方が我々にはメリットに感じました。

Spent 4 nights there and did not want to leave. Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A tranquil haven to return to after a day of action on Surin Beach. Hope to return next year.

Unfortunately we were mislead about this place. How it can be called a resort is beyond us. It has minimal facilities and is very difficult to navigate with an infant in a stroller. Upon arrival we were told that "there was an arrangement with the hotel next door for access to the kids club so 'noisy kids' would not be heard at the Chava" Hardly family friendly or welcoming. The hotel is located away from the beach which is not accessible for a stroller. SInce we only arrived late afternoon we had to stay for one night out of a planned 4 and spent half of the next day seeking alternative accommodation. Not a relaxing way to start a break in beautiful Phuket.

Facilities: Modern; Great massages. Restaurant serves excellent western and Thai food.

Would have been nice to have a restaurant in the resort, but cafe was great anyway.

This was an absolutely gorgeous resort with very spacious apartments and wonderful staff. The hotel is conviniently located by the shops and restaurants and a very short walk to the beach. I absolutely loved my stay there.

The Chava Resort is located near Surin Beach, smaller and much quieter than some of the more popular beach areas in Phuket. The beach and surrounding area offer a good selection of restaurants, masseuses, loungers, and activities like jetskis, parasailing, waterskiing, etc., but also a good spot to chill and enjoy the tranquility and pristine beach. Great if you've got small kids. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, across a small park. Some of the suites were still under construction, but the disruption was minimal. We were there at the end of low season (late October), so occupancy was very low. Service was great. Our unit was a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment, with full kitchen, liviing and dining rooms, laundry, and our own plunge pool. Again, great for a family. Overall the hotel facilities were nice but not extensive. Only complaint: no on-site gym, although you can use the facilities at a neighbouring hotel for a daily fee. Better yet, just go for a swim and a walk on the beach.
