Hampton Inn & Suites Cedar Rapids

Put in a handicap room and no idea why. Low bed, low closet and small ironing board were really pretty annoying especially as we could tell hotel was not full. Room was very outdated. No conditioner. Big bottle of shampoo completely empty. Site said there was a hot tub but there wasn’t. Overall very disappointing.

It was not a good check-in experience. Even though check-in was at 4 and we were there at 4, nobody was at the front desk and there was no bell to ring. When they front desk person came out, someone said something to him, and he started swearing in front of us to himself. He then had a difficult time finding a room for us, even though we paid in advance ( non-refundable ) and reserved a room prior. He gave us a handicap room, which we, which neither of us is/was. I think that it is the first time in staying at a hotel where we didn't have a small fridge and/or microwave in our room ( especially at that price ) The experience has made us make a decision to stay at another hotel in the area the next time around. Thank you.

Door was open when I got to my room. Curtains fell down in the middle of the night. Garbage can sitting on the back of the toilet. Nasty

No reference to my rewards or anything

Clean, quiet and friendly staff.

Farther away from my focus area, didn’t realize there were two different locations.

It was extremely noisy. People running up and down halls banging on doors

The bed was comfortable but there was hair on the sheets.

The tile floors crack when you walk on them in the room. Elevator and hallway look dirty.

The check-in girl allowed me to check-in early since a room was ready. So accommodating.
