Touchstone Resort

Out door fire pit great, restaurant was great, outdoor jacuzzi was good.

Hot Water was brown in the rooms. Had to switch rooms. Still brown in another room. Front staff acted like they didn't care or it was normal. They weren't interested in seeing the pics and videos we took. After showering we were super itchy. This is an effect from the water. Didn't feel comfortable using any water after. The sauna and steam room were moldy. Definitely not cleaned regularly. After a few emails were told this issue happens and not normal. Definitely should have been handled better.

The resort was amazing. I would love to see it in the summer months. We enjoyed the spa and used the fitness centre. we used the hot tub the first night as well. The resort was much larger than expected. Felt very much on vacation.

My only complaint is that the parking lot is very dark at night. Some more lighting would be beneficial. Below the sink there was a piece of wood, almost like a baseboard that was pushed in and you could see underneath. Simply needs to be pulled back.

Loved the room and the view. Clean and comfy.

The sliding door separating bed and living room is adjacent to bed which make it bit inconvenient.

Everything was amazing

The comfort of the bed - Touchstone wins the pillows sweepstakes with 6; quite plush towels and bed linens; and a wonderful view of the lake. Although we spent just 1 night, we noted that there were all the items one would need to spend long periods of time, i.e fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, etc.

That the large Touchstone signs were completely snow covered, thereby hidden. Especially once it got dark, finding the entrance, especially for first time visitors, was difficult.

Grat location

Onsite restaurant horrible. Two scallops the size of a dime for $20 and the rest of the meal came out burnt. First room had bathroom issues and not very clean

The room itself was great overlooking the lake .

No breakfast no restaurant open. There is a mini fridge and microwave toaster coffee kettle and dishes but it would have been better to ensure clients are aware at time of booking. Overpriced.
