This place was run down, dirty, transients in the lobby, the included breakfast was bad fruit, the worst coffee ever. Stale muffins and bagels, and cereal with no milk. This used to be a comfort in I stayed at several years ago. It was a dump then, it’s even worse now. If I’d have known it was same place under a different name I wouldn’t have booked it. The only saving grace was The staff was friendly.

"Just right for us!"

We stayed at the University Inn while touring Binghampton University in the middle of snowy January. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. The gym and pool were operating and well maintained and a quick breakfast with bagels, cereal, fruit and coffee was perfect for on the go. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was responsive to our requests. The location was great with only a 5 minute drive to the main campus.

This property is preparing to be changed over to another hotel chain. Unfortunately the toliet in our room would not flush. Staff immediately offered us a new room. Breakfast is only cereal and offerings of toast,bagels. Location is great and staff are very friendly.
