Great location, big rooms, good breakfast in morning

People at the reception were friendly. People in the breakfast area didn't greet back, were quite reserved, I would say. The hotel and especially the room was great - except for the problem with the AC, which didn't work most days of my stay. And I can say, that some air circulation is definitely needed because you cannot open the balcony door because of the mosquitos which will join you for the night. Whenever a technician came to check the AC, he only switched it on and off. It seems that everyone was aware that the AC is not working well...

Again, location was great so you are in the centre... which is like the loudest area in Santa Maria. Every night there are drummers, singers or any kind of loud happenings just in front (!!) of your hotel which prevents you from sleeping early. I would say, from 12 am onwards it its getting less noisy. If there are no live concerts on the street, you are located directly at the round-about for busses, taxis, cars, tourist-shuttles etc. which - you can guess - are pretty loud as well. I won't speak about the people shouting to somehow organize the chaos which happens 24/7h in Santa Maria. So that's an additional sound level. Santa Maria is indeed a tourist and party location. So, whenever the bedtime comes, drunk people are coming back to the hotel, slamming the doors, screaming in the hotel. Overall I didn't expect it to be peacefully in the hotel but in the end I was happy to leave the hotel get a good night's rest at home.

A new kitchen, just no pots or pans, no kettle and not so much dishes

Great location in the centre of Santa Maria. Nice pool and restaurant on ground floor, where a good breakfast is served. My room had a nice balcony with pier and sea views, with good air conditioning and television. After my fishing trips everyday they cooked my fish in the restaurant free of charge. Thanks for great stay.

Everything good, but I’ll take a kettle for the room next time.
