Lovely friendly staff and guests, well equipped room with comfy beds

The location, apartment, cleanliness and comfort were all excellent.

We had a hire car and the parking garage was not ideal due to a very narrow entrance restricted by a pillar. We found that there were a lot of additional fees being requested - the additional fee for the car park was acceptable, however, given the price paid, was disappointing to be quoted a further €56 for the week for our family of 4 to have clean pool towels each day, together with additional fee to checkin anytime before 4pm although advised on arrival at 2pm that our apartment was ready.

The location is excellent and very convenient, with many restaurants, shops, and the beach nearby. The pool area was pleasant, and after requesting a room change, the second room with balcony and pool view was better than the first one.

We were first given a ground-floor studio with no balcony, in a passage where many people walked past, which was not what we expected from the booking description. After speaking to reception, we were moved to another room. The second room had a balcony, but it was located behind the bar area, and the noise each evening until around 10pm made it difficult to rest or sleep early. Soundproofing was poor, as we could also hear noise from neighbouring rooms. Cleanliness needs improvement. One pillow had stains and dried residue, and we found ants on the kitchen counter and in the bathroom. Housekeeping was also disappointing, as the room was not cleaned daily and the rubbish bin was almost overflowing by the third day. There were maintenance issues too. We could not turn off the outside light near our room door, and because of the large gap under the door, light came into the room all night. Check-in at 4pm is too late and check-out at 10am is too early. Charging extra per hour for late check-out, plus additional fees for beach towels and parking, did not feel good value.
