As a PCT Hiker, the Columbia Gorge Inn checks all the boxes - convenient location near restaurants coffee, post office, and the Columbia River; good Wi-Fi; hiker friendly and down to earth/family-run; pretty potted plants around the front office; amenities like mini-frig, microwave, A/C or heat (if needed); hiker boxes; free laundry; and generous check-in and check-out times.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke and strong smelly perfumed spray. Carpet and floors dirty. Toilet and shower run together. Office was in disarray. The attendant spoke broken English. He was nice and understood why we couldn’t stay there.

Grungy looking room. Could not understand front desk person's broken english. Did not feel safe when we arrived after dark. We did not stay here, even though we had previously paid. We went a block away to the BW Plus. Great room & great breakfast!
