Eyre Square Hotel

The Eyre Square Hotel is in an excellent location in Galway but, unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. Part of that is due to the fact that they are currently renovating and our first room was an old one with no air conditioning which was right over the bar next door - it was noisy and hot! The reception staff was amazing and understood our concerns and moved us to a different room which had been renovated and was much better but you could hear everything from the rooms next door. We also found the included breakfast to be the worst of our 2 weeks in Ireland - not a ton of choice and the hot items on the buffet were cold.

The room For 350 euro we looked on a courtyard of rubbish. And hotel was half empty. Even thought I asked 1st floor reception should have said so. Schandal

Ideally suitated. Everything is in walking distance.

Breakfast could improve. Food except the sausages were only luke warm.

Excellent location between the 2 bus stations. We could walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The room was large, the bed comfy and there was a much appreciated choice of pillow types. Our room was spotless.
