Ahoskie Inn

The first encounter was with the front desk clerk she was on the only one there. She was on the phone with saying the same thing over and over. I patiently waited over 30minutes to check in. She didn't even acknowledge i was standing at the window. I ran out of patience and asked her was there anyone else there who could check me in she said no Im the only one here. I then said why can't you put them on hold and check me in she said i was on the phone first and she kept talking till she was finished. I will never stay there again. The room had roaches and the air-condition was not working. Terrible stay

The property is going down stayed many of times but I will not stay again

This "hotel" was awful. The faucet fell apart in my hands, it was rusted and disgusting. The smell of the hotel is so bad including the room. The toilet was clogged. The shower/tub- I thought I was going to fall through the floor. There were no shower curtains in the bathroom. I lifted the mattress to look and it was filthy. It also has someone's old tshirt under the mattress. Then I was told that there was a shooting there last month and that several people drowned in the pool so they filled it in. The Breakfast was at a gas station. Just awful. dirty, tiny flies flying around. I stayed 1 night and requested a refund for the remainder of my stay.

Nothing the property was disgusting horrible filthy dirty I've never recommend this place to anyone rats roaches horrible filthy unthinkable speakable place I would never ever stay there again dirty filthy rats disgusting

Noise, dirty.People were knocking my door and hide.This hotel need restaurestion.

I visit Ahoskie a few times a year and I would always stay at the Ahoskie Inn. However, during my stay from 3/9/2023 to 3/12/2023, my family and I will never stay there again. It felt like I was in a hotel in a third world country. During the day ( every day I was there) whenever I would enter the hotel from the back entrance (because it was closer to my room) there would always be a couple of people sitting on the floor , inside the hotel , right next to the entrance. Often times they would be posted where they could see the exact room myself and my family was entering, which felt creepy because they watched us the entire time. When we came in at night, there would be people on the second level, sitting on the edge of the window seal, looking right out the window at us. It felt like I was in a horror movie. Not to mention that the outside door was always prompt open. There was a bug in the bathroom on our second day that was the size of a small mouse. After I killed it, I could not figure out what it was. When we first checked in, I was at the room they gave us trying to get in, but my key didn't work. At the same time, the people who were already in the room were calling the front desk, saying someone was trying to break in their room. Finally , the guest must have called her father, who was in the room down the hall and opened the door, and asked what was I doing. I told him I was trying to get in my room, and he said that I was trying to get into his daughter's room. They had booked me to a room that already had guests. There seemed to be a large group of about 15-25 people who were there, and they would be standing or sitting near the doorways and walk past us just as we were entering our room (they did this about 7 times). It felt like we would be kidnapped at any moment. This has never been a great hotel, but it was convenient for me as far as being able to visit my family, stay late, and only have to drive a few minutes back to the hotel. From now on, I'll stay in Virginia and drive up each day. Ahoskie inn is definitely out , for me.

nice place but its time for renovation. Stuff old and outdated.
