Club Cala Blanca

Hotel is about 80% timeshare so you will only ever get to book the bottom 2 levels so your view to the sea will never be as good as from the timeshare apartments. There is also 2 lifts to use to get down to the rented apartments. You are in the middle of nowhere really so you need a car, but the parking is for timeshare only the rest of the parking is taken up by every one else and you have to park at the very bottom of a hill with no lights, I am a fast walker and it was taking me about 10-12min to get from car to apartment. But all that said the apartment is as clean and new as can be you really get everything in the room and I mean everything, from smart tv DVD, dishwasher, the bed and bedding is 1st class, you have every thing you need in the kitchen it's full. So in a nut shell you will need a car but 10min walk from where you park to get to room, nothing really in the area of hotel hence the car, but apartment is first class with more that every thing in it you could ever need. Ideal for some but not everyone.

The resourt with is rooms and swiming / sunn bathing area is perfect for a relaxing holiday. You need a car to get to the beach or other resturants. This year the kitchen on the hotel was not so good, so we went out eating most days since we had our own car.

Resort too quiet the area too quiet and the resort was up a hill that was a big walk.

A little out of the way....although if you want just sun and pool ok. About 4km from Puerto de Mogan, shuttle bus runs from the resort. Long walk to beach at Taurito, uphill coming back. Best rooms for view are on upper floors, but these are reserved for time share owners, we were placed on the ground floor, next to the coastal road GC 500, nil view. We had a car so were able to get about, but parking is very limited, if you can book a resort car place, do so. Some entertainment at restaurant over dinner. Just OK.

Very good resort, will definitely be back, staff cant do enough for yo, very sincere and friendly, go the extra mile as a matter of course. Good place to chill out and get away from it all. Pool amazing. Only drawback lots of steps so bear in mind if booking and car parking at a premium but only a coupleof euros a day to book so not a problem for us. Lovely big balconies for sunning and eating out on if self catering.

I enjoyed the location and everyone in hotel was friendly bar one of the receptionists ( blonde hair) the pool and hotel is good but I was not happy with my apartment.

As we're not members of Diamond Resorts we paid, yes we PAID for a weeks self catering so we could join our friends that are members. Both my wife & I felt we were treated differently than the "members" staying there. Simple requests were not carried, from booking taxi's to alarm calls, sadly reception always had excuses. The majority of the staff were great, however, certain members were just plain rude. We have stayed at a number of Diamond Resorts, this experience has made us re think.

My fiancé and I booked a last minute, cheap and cheerful holiday through Expedia and were SO surprised with our hotel. Cala Blanca is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome from the time you arrive right up to when you leave. Our studio apt on the 1st floor was perfect and the view from the balcony was breathtaking at times. We loved it there and will definately be returning. Thanks Guys!

Reception staff was not friendly at all. Handle the guest like a number and lack of friendliness. Nice views from the hotel. Beds not comfy at all. Up on a mountain that you have to walk up to from the bus station and the town itself has nothing really to offer.
