"Athens as a whole is expensive, and the Comfort Suites were not on par with the price."

The breakfast offered was very good. Wide selection, well prepared.

The hotel is old, and shabby. Caulking around tub was mildewed, safety trips on bottom of tub were worn off, bottom of door chipped and broken. Stains on linens. Needs a total remodel.

The location is fine.

The furnishings in the room were old and battered. The wall had a chunk out of it, and the sofa bed was downright nasty. When we pulled it out, the mattress had black stains (likely mold) on the underside and the top was dirty, as well. We just closed it back up and had to sleep with two adults and two kids in one bed. The coffee might be the worst I've ever had, which was disappointing after a poor night's sleep. They doubled the price due to a concert in town, so this was REALLY not worth the money.
