Nice rooms, good breakfast.

Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The price is a little high but the service was very good,the room was up to date and clean. Very quiet since it is off the main highway. Breakfast was good.

I was looking for a place to stay in Childress and this hotel had received very good reviews on a couple of sites, barring an occasional negative review. And past experience at this hotel chain has been positive. On the positive side, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The young lady staffing the front desk was polite and helpful. I didn't see any bugs in the room. Other than that, this particular hotel is far below par for the Holiday Inn Express chain. There is a lot of wear and tear on the lobby, and in the room that I stayed in. The A/C unit in my room was not working; the front desk sent a repairman, but by the time he showed up I had figured out what was wrong and fixed it (the unit plugged in to the wall and the plug had a couple of buttons that allowed one to test the surge protection in the cord. I had to reset the protection). The lint trap/filter on the A/C was so dirty that lint was poking out of the slats in the unit. I did not bother to clean it. The carpet had not been cleaned very well; probably vacuumed, but not vacuumed very well. There was a large gap under the room door and there was a lot of hallway noise that intruded into my room. I stuffed a bath towel in the gap and that helped a bit. Breakfast was the standard fare for a chain restaurant. The price was exorbitant, even on Expedia and Trip Advisor. Especially given the condition of the hotel and my room. But there weren't many places in Childress that had rooms at the time of night I was coming through, so I took a chance.

Great for a driver night stay when on the road , he did not have difficulty parking the Motorcoach bus.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, convenient location

Stayed here on our way to Colorado to ride in the Rocky Mountains on our motorcycles. Hotel was excellent but the parking is not trailer friendly. The breakfast was on point.
